You will need to get your NC license within 60 days of moving to NC. You will be required to schedule an appointment to take the computer exam. Upon passing you will be issued a paper copy of your NC driver’s license and your permanent one will arrive in the mail. After receiving your NC license, you will be able to register your car.

Speed limits
